Plastic Recycling
Plastic recycling is an emerging and sustainable business opportunity, driven by increasing plastic waste generation and demand for recycled materials. Setting up a small recycling unit requires essential machinery such as a Dust Cleaner, Plastic Scrap Grinder, Washing Machine with Conveyor, Film Dryer, Agglomerator Machine, and a Plastic Recycling Machine, making the total machinery cost a significant part of the overall investment. The total estimated cost of machineries ranges from Rs.12 to 20 lakhs. A built-up area of around 1000 sq. ft. is required to accommodate production and storage activities. With proper sorting, processing, and quality control, the business can yield a profit margin of 20% to 30%. The venture not only offers a profitable return but also contributes to environmental sustainability.
